This lecture is about the effects on venous return curve of changes in mean systemic filling pressure( Psf).
when mean systemic filling pressure increases the venous return increases at each and every level of right atrial pressure and to decrease the venous return the right atrial pressure has to increase to a higher level.
when mean systemic filling pressure decreases the venous rerun decreases at every level of right atrial pressure, and right atrial pressure has to increase only slightly to stop the venous return.
