Train Trip in Spain: ALVIA from Madrid to Bilbao

One of Renfe's high-speed train brand is called ALVIA.
ALVIA is a partial high-speed service for long distance journey.
So, the train changes the line from international gauge to Iberian gauge.

This time, I rode ALVIA from Madrid-Chamartín to Bilbao-Abando at Trista class.
This journey takes about 5 hours with 5 stops.

From the window, you can see gradually-changing landscape from heart of Spain to northern Spain, Basque Country.

The ticket costs 37.10 EUR for one way and reserved in advance.
