Points of contact are those seemingly insignificant places we touch throughout the day and are known harbingers of germs which can lead to spreading viruses, especially during cold and flu season Learn which ones you need to clean / disinfect and how to do it!

Points of contact...ahh...I am so glad we are doing a video on this very important topic, and the timing couldn't be better!
We never think about what we are touching and where that hand residue (for lack of better wording) ends up. You eat, sneeze, touch your hair, shake hands, cook, use the washroom, touch money, pump gas, take the bus, etc. and then come home and turn on the lights, open the fridge and flip on the TV. If you forget to wash your hands or don't do it thoroughly, you are placing bacteria all over the house. I am not a germophobe and I am not trying to make you one, but there has to be a level of awareness when it comes to germs and points of contact, especially around the wintertime. If you are a little more mindful when cleaning, you'll greatly reduce the risk of catching and spreading something by cleaning these popular points of contact.
So in no particular order, here you go:
10 - Light switches
9 - Door handles and locks
8 - Toilet handles
7 - Faucets
6 - Cupboard handles and knobs
5 - Appliance handles and knobs
4 - Stair railings
3 - Phones
2 - Keyboards and mice
1 - Remote control
And as always, wash your hands for 30 second with soap and water throughout the day to stop the spread of germs. Hopefully this will help you stay healthy this cold and flu season!
