Fairly real-time experience of the setup process for T-Mobile's Home Internet Gateway. In the end, it worked out, but the lack of information, difficulty reaching Support, and the fact that the device was NOT provisioned really made it unpleasant. It was worth the time in the end.
Biggest tip:
Connect it to a UPS! The T-Mobile Internet Gateway will NOT function without power. Although it DOES have a battery, that battery will NOT allow you to connect.
Update:
We ended up moving to south Florida where there isn't any 5G signals from anyone. So, we had to send the "T-Mobile Trashcan" back. However, while we had it, this little device worked perfectly.
