Ingredients
- FOR PREPARING ROASTED PANEER :
- Cottage cheese / Paneer - 1 Cup diced
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Butter - 2 tbsp
- Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1 tsp
- FOR PREPARING WHITE GRAVY :
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Clove / Laung - 2 to 3
- Cardamom / Elaichi - 2
- Cinnamon / Dal chini - 1 Small stick
- Bay leaf / Tej patta - 1
- Onion / Pyaz - 1 Sliced
- Garlic / Lahsun - 4 to 5 Cloves
- Ginger / Adarak - 1/2 Inch chopped
- Green chilli / Hari mirchi - 1 Chopped
- Cashew / Kaju - 8 to 10 Pieces
- Water - As required
- FOR PREPARING PANEER KALI MIRCH :
- Butter - 2 tbsp
- Fresh cream / Homemade malai - 1 tbsp
- Salt - As per taste
- All spice mix powder / garam masala - 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1 tsp
- Dry fenugreek leaves / Kasuri methi - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - For garnishing
- tsp = teaspoon
- tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions
- FOR PREPARING ROASTED PANEER :
- Heat oil and butter in a pan. Then add paneer. Mix well and add black pepper powder. Roast it for 5 to 6 minutes on medium flame. Stir it occasionally. Once done, take it out to a plate and keep it aside.
- FOR PREPARING WHITE GRAVY :
- Heat oil and butter in a pan. Add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, and onion. Mix well. Then add garlic, ginger, green chilli, and cashews. Mix well.
- Add little water. Mix well. Boil it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame until the onions become soft. Stir it occasionally. Once done, keep it aside and let it cool down.
- Then transfer it to the grinding jar. Grind it for a few seconds to prepare its puree. Keep it aside.
- FOR PREPARING PANEER KALI MIRCH :
- Heat butter in a pan. Add the prepared white gravy. Mix well and bring it to a boil.
- Add fresh cream and mix well. Now add salt, all spice mix powder, dry fenugreek leaves by rubbing between palms, and black pepper powder. Mix well.
- Now add the roasted paneer. Mix well and garnish it with coriander leaves.
- 'Paneer Kali Mirch | Kali Mirch Paneer In White Gravy' is ready to be served.
