I wanted to remove the ugly wall and ceiling texture in my master bedroom for that smooth wall look, but could only find videos on skim coating which was not a challenge I wanted to take. After playing around with it I was able to find a great way to remove the texture down to the bare drywall. I was then able to fill any holes and paint it for the smooth ceiling and wall look I was going for. I hope this helps you all out!
Tools & Materials Needed:
✔ Drywall Knife
✔ Spackle and/or Drywall Mud
✔ Pole Sander
✔ Sand Paper

🔲 Step 2: Scrape Texture w/ Drywall Knife (01:27)
🔲 Step 3: Sand Walls (02:45)
🔲 Step 4: Fill Holes & Wipe Walls (04:21)
