A brief and amusing look at the auditions and the final TV commercial for the 1-900-999-7000 party line circa March 1991. This commercial aired on late-night TV in Chicago and other large US markets.
1:02 - B-Movie starlet and model Veronica Carothers was our choice for this ad. She also appears in quite a few of our other 900 commercials. Carothers is known for her work in B-movies during the late 80s and early 90s. Apparently, she was considered a "scream queen."
