How to Setup Priority Inbox in Gmail

Priority Inbox in Gmail sifts through the clutter of your inbox to deliver only the most important messages to to the top of your inbox, leaving other messages below in a separate section. It accomplishes this by analyzing incoming messages based what actions you've taken with similar messages in the past, whether or not the email is directed towards you, and other factors.

To turn on Priority Inbox, click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the page, select mail settings, and find the "Inbox" tab. Under "Inbox type," select "Priority Inbox." Priority Inbox can have up to four sections, which you can configure from here. In the video I show you how to insert a label as one section of Priority Inbox.
