Malaysian Airlines First Class A380 Flight Experience

Great flight attendants, delicious food, and a comfortable bed. What else do you want on an airplane?
Malaysian Airlines currently offers First Class cabin only on its London route as it scales back its A380 operations. With the future of MH's A380 unclear, I figure it would be worth the detour to experience Malaysian Hospitality.
The lounge in KL is a little disappointing compared to its regional peers like Cathay, Singapore, Thai. It is smaller and although the service is friendly, it is not as luxurious as Cathay's or Singapore's. However MH deserves credit for having an actual sit-down restaurant with waiter service for only 2 flights, which is something not even Korean Air/Asiana offers.
The service onboard was excellent. The crew were lovely to talk to and clearly enjoy their work. Drinks and food were delivered quickly and in quick succession. One crew member will pour the wine while other follows in with dessert.
The food on this flight was the highlight. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. It was one of the best meals I have had on a plane though behind my ANA/JAL and Singapore meals. The Malaysian satay has always been one of the best appetizers in the sky. I only wished that they served more shrimp in the main course. One prawn for the dish seems a bit cheap. I was also surprised they serve pad thai and Hainanese chicken rice on a plane. My only regret is that I didn't get to try out more of the menu but I was seriously so full.
Overall, Malaysian Airlines offers a great first class experience with great food and excellent flight attendants.
