Pinion Yoke / Shaft Repair Sleeve Application
In this video I will show you how to repair a pinion yoke shaft using a shaft repair sleeve also known as a Redi-Sleeve to fix a rear differential seal leak caused by a scored shaft.
This method can save you the cost of a new yoke which in turn saves money.
Please note that the repair sleeve is intended to repair the part of the shaft that is damaged, and not the entire shaft.
In this video, I show how to install the sleeve all the way on the shaft.
Please note this may not be the case with your scenario.
Try your best to find the exact spot on the shaft that is causing the leak, and cover it only, as the repair sleeve is not the entire length of the shaft it is being used on.
