Face/Off is a cult thriller/action
Face/Off is a cult thriller/action movie of the late nineties. It featured Nicolas Cage against John Travolta in an outlandish and fantastic plot. With some great lines, deep emotional moments and futuristic sci-fi and action sequences, this movie was anything but forgettable. John Woo was brought on to direct and provide a unique east meets west vision in film making.
This week, we take you to the pier where the pivotal boat chase scene started. Castor Troy (Travolta) and Sean Archer run through this location shooting at each other and engaging in a deadly pursuit. Before leaving, a massive explosion engulfs the pier and you can still see indentations and damage on the posts from it.
This pier is located in the Port of Los Angeles, and still looks much like it did twenty years ago when the film was shot.
