A very dear and sincere tribute to Anissa Jones one of Holloway's the band most popular song. Eddie Holloway who wrote the song said there was many weird and unusual things happening when writing this song. He said in a interview: The song was written, practice and recorded in one week's time.. Once I read her story I was a little upset and angry and wonder why her life ended up this way..there was a urgency, spiritual or may i say a higher calling that wouldn't let me rest until I finish this song. I've never experienced anything like this, but I'm glad I did. This is for you Anissa Jones, I wish you could have stuck around and enjoyed your life as much as you gave to others to enjoy theirs.
One of the unusual things when I whispered the words "it's time to go" at the 2 minute 20 second mark of this song, that a female voice came out instead of mine, everyone in the recording booth got so scared they ran out of the building LOL.... Good times
