First off, can I just say how much I actually enjoyed the finale? I have my issues with it (namely that Stefan had to die and that Steroline didn't get their time together, because I do truly love them as a pair) but on the whole it felt like closure for everyone.

I liked the letter from Klaus. I liked that it was hopeful, but that it wasn't over the top. It was respectful to the fact that Caroline would be grieving Stefan for a while to come; probably the rest of her eternal life. But it opened the door for Klaroline to fully realise their potential one day - whether they'll be a forever thing is up to the writers I guess.
