Post Poll Violence Hits Bengal, PM Modi Expresses Anguish & MHA Seeks Report

A day after TMC scored a landslide victory, widespread post-poll violence marred parts of West Bengal. 11 people were reportedly killed in the violence that rocked the state on May 3. Mamata Banerjee appealed for calm and urged the people to maintain law and order in the state. A video of BJP party office allegedly set ablaze by rival political party workers in West Bengal’s Arambagh has gone viral.
