The famous restaurant style veg malai chaap tikka is a sure delight for veg lovers...
ingredients:
500 g soya chaap
8 tbsp fresh cream or malai
4 tbsp fresh yogurt
2 green chilli +2 tbsp coriander leaves
1 tsp ginger +1 tbsp[ garlic paste
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp chaat masaa powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsp butter
1-2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp lemon juice
15 cashews+1 tbsp melon seeds fine paste
Method:
Transfer all ingredients except oil and butter in a mixing bowl.
Remove the sticks from chaaps.
If they are hard to remove, pour them into normal water for about one hour.
Dip all the soya chaap into the marinade for minimum half an hour.
Heat a pan add oil and butter into it.
Place all chaap one by one. fry them till they become nice golden in color.
Remove them from the pan and cut each chaap into three pieces.
Transfer all remaining marinade into the same pan add some butter if required.
Cook it for just one min,
Mix the chaap pieces into the same pan, mix them well.
turn off the flame
Serve with chutney or ketchup.
