This short video shows how to assemble a Cox Tee Dee engine. I use the .09 but the other Tee Dees are the same.
I had to replace broken plastic carb bodies on two different Cox Tee Dee .09 engines. The plastic ones seem to be very scarce as extra parts. Instead, I found anodized machined aluminum parts available on ebay from seller esp-ex3460, who has a whole ebay store for Cox parts. I put the aluminum part to unintended tests when I plugged the C/L airplane (Ringmaster Jr.) directly downward into the ground. It stood fast, fine. No other broken parts on the engine, either.
