DIY Cable Organizer Box / Cable Management #diy #shorts

Build a DIY cable organizer, cable management box. This video provides you with the plans, my cut list, as well as the materials and tools I used. Inside the box you can hide cords and cables as well as mount a power strip (a surge protector is recommended), and even a network switch. The cuts and assembly only take a few hours, but more time is required for smooth sanding and finishing with stain and/or  polyurethane (at least 3 coats of polyurethane is recommended for maximum durability).

Materials:
2'x4' piece of 1/2" Finished Plywood - If you get SANDE at Home Depot, which is what I used, it will be ~ 7/16" thick)
Wood Glue
3/4" Brad Nails (you can also use clamps)
220 Grit Sandpaper
3/4" screws for mounting
Wood Stain Pre-conditioner*
Colored Stain of your choice (I used KOA color)*
Polyurethane (oil or water based)*
* For finishing  I used Varathane products; however, I only chose that brand because I was trying to use up leftover cans I had around the shop. Be sure to use proper ventilation when using these products indoors.

DeWalt 10" Jobsite Table Saw (DW745 the old one... you want DWE7491RS since it has a longer extending fence and can handle DADO blades)
