this file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action windows 10 or fix ms-settings personalization-background error-this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.
This solution also works on windows 11,windows 8 and win 7 64 bit and 32 bit based operating system.
Some user's are facing this issue while try to access the steam game app,fifa 23,explorer.exe and one drive.

Today i get the following one error notification while i try to open the personalise settings in my windows 10 pc :
ms-settings:personalization-background
This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action.
Please install an app or,if one is already installed,create an association in the Default Apps Settings page.

How to solve ms settings display this file does not have an app associated with it :
1.One of my subscriber ask to me,what does it meaning and why this issue occurs?.
2.Some time this is occurs due to previously installed windows update.
3.So if you like to fix this issue,just uninstall the previously installed windows updates.
4.And then open your command prompt.
5.And execute i mentioned three commands.
6.So after you done this processes,and one time restart your windows platform.
7.So i hope after the restarting is completed,this problem is solved in permanently.
