Great old time spartan design, but most of all, superb tone and sound projection on this Martin-inspired 'OOO' guitar. Solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck. Really suitable for fingerpicking playing (wide neck, with 48 mm width at the nut, almost like a classical nylon-stringed one), and 'invisible' Fishman Sonitone EQ pickup too, with both volume and tone controls hidden under the sound hole, next to the 6th string. Tuning machines works really fine and safe, even if they don't have the label "grover" on them. It comes with ebony pyramid bridge, bone nut and saddle.
Its shape and size is almost identical to the "brownie" sister backwards (ROS-616), except that the fingerboard is c-shaped, fingerboard is rosewood (not ebony), and of course finish is glossy, not matte. Also, its fingerboard is a little harder to handle than the 616, but it has a different, stronger tone, and probably more volume too. And last but not least, its price is barely the half of ROS-616's.
