Hey guys, my name’s Samantha. Someone was leaving mysterious boxes at my doorstep, and what
was inside them terrified me to my core. Let me tell you my story.
It all started when my mom and dad split up. They couldn’t afford our old house anymore, so they
both had to get new, smaller places. They had a big fight over who got custody of me, but I was 17,
so to make things easier on both of them, I decided it was time for me to get my own place.
Both mom and dad hated the idea, but they couldn’t stop me. However, I couldn’t afford much, so I
settled on this tiny, creepy-looking house in my town. My dad helped me move in and went around
to all the neighbors’ houses to introduce me.
My first night alone was really scary, and to make it worse, my ex-boyfriend, Rick, wouldn’t stop
texting me. We’d just broken up and he probably knew I’d be feeling lonely, so he was trying to
worm his way back into my life. I stayed strong, though, and didn’t reply.
But the next morning, the weirdest thing happened. I opened my front door and there was a
package there. It was in a weird, striped box and taped up really badly. But what was even weirder
was that it was Sunday, so it couldn’t have been left by a delivery driver. I took it inside and opened
it up. Inside was a handwritten letter. When I read it, I almost fainted.
"Welcome to the neighborhood. This place needs some fresh blood. Please tell me, is your bedroom at the front of the house? I only ask so it makes it easier to watch you."
What the hell??? This had to be some kind of sick joke. Who’d send something like this? I rushed to
my front window and looked out. There was no one there, except…
