Duke-NUS scientists have discovered a
Duke-NUS scientists have discovered a way to prevent common heart diseases from getting worse. During the early phases, a gene called WWP2 is blocked to slow the formation of excessive scar tissues on the heart. Associate Professor Enrico Petretto from the Cardiovascular & Metabolic Disorders Programme at Duke-NUS Medical School, who is also director of the Centre for Computational Biology, shared more about his team's discovery.
