Tripura will be the only
Tripura will be the only state in the country to implement cent percent #Webcasting in the upcoming #LokSabhaPolls.
This was informed by Chief Electoral Officer Sriram Taranikanti who said that teams have been deployed across the state for video-recording and surveillance.
Polling booths will have adequate number of CCTVs will be installed and mobile teams will be deployed to ensure security. Nearly 20,000 police personnel will be deployed for the polls.
400 sector officials will move between polling booths with police officers.
Additionally, teams will carry out video-recording in areas where internet connection is weak. The recorded clips will be submitted to the district election officers.
