This was a hack done in Cheat Engine, to make make characters growth smoothly.
It is actually two hacks. The first one changes the selected character's size, and the second one changes the speed at which the character grows at.
Here is what I did (finding the code the first time was difficult, but I can also explain this and make a separate tutorial covering the reasoning),
Once in game I start cheat engine.
Then I "break and trace" this address:
Everquest2.exe+15e99D
This occurs when I click on a character.
Then I go 0xB4 Bytes past the value stored in register EDI
Changing this 4Byte Floating Point value will cause the character to scale to the new size. By default the value is 1.00 (aka 0x3f800000). So if I change this value to 7.0 the character will grow to 7 times its size. However the speed at which it grows is by default really slow. However the game has a separate global growth rate variable which is by default .1 (stored as a 8Byte Double, though some versions of cheat engine's dissembler will incorrectly think it is a 4ByteFloat so it will say 0.0, in this video I change it .004.
The variable's exact position is referenced at the following instruction:
