Now that you have unboxed your espresso machine, you are on your way to mastering the art of great tasting coffee. From assembling the filter to positioning the hopper, follow this step-by-step guide for a smooth machine set up.
Directions:
1. Wash and dry all accessories and parts before placing them into the machine.
2. Soak the filter into water and set aside for 5 minutes. After it has been soaked, pop it into the filter holder and set the reminder date to a month ahead.
3. Set the filter into the water tank and fill the tank up with cold water. Place the water tank into the machine.
4. Place the hopper into the top of the machine, ensuring you lock it into place.
5. Choose either the deep or shallow filter basket to compliment your coffee taste or strength.
6. Press the ‘Power’ button and the machine will beep, going in ‘First-use cycle’ mode. The LCD will display ‘Flush’ and ‘1-cup’ button will be illuminated.
7. Press the ‘1-cup’ button and the LCD will display a count-down for the remaining time of the ‘First use cycle’. Once complete the machine will go into ready mode and you can now make your first cup of coffee.
