O A Smith Hotwater Pilot Light Thermocouple Replacement

Replacement of Pilot light on an A O Smith FCV 40 100 Hotwater heater.  Pilot light was going out because of a malfunctioning Thermocouple. Pretty standard for it to fail on this brand 8 to 9 years after installation.  To order parts google the model number and you will get a parts list.  Then you can order the part online from that list. I hope this helps people out there.  The part number you need is 183824-190.  google that number and locations where you can buy it will pop up.  I did buy my part at Plumbing Products Online in Albany NY.
