NEVER share your OpenAI's account generated secret key to anyone or any client side code. If you working on open source application that uses OpenAi's GPT's api, make sure you use .gitignore to exclude your secret key from uploading to public. This is because GPT pricing calculated based on number of api calls with the secret key. If the secret key generated from your account is LEAKED, someone might launch bot spam on OpenAI's api with your secret key. This will causes OpenAi to charge the usage on your account. I would suggest if you have open source applications that uses GPT's apis, check your account usage regularly. Revoke the api key immediately if suspicious spike recorded on your account's usage.
