Bringing Rail Paintings to Life by J. Craig Thorpe

Artist J. Craig Thorpe shares his approach to creating paintings of numerous railroad subjects. His work has been used to promote rail events and places from Amtrak to narrow gauge across the entire US. Particular favorites include the White Pass & Yukon and the East Broad Top. He uses various media - oil, pencil, water colors, pen and ink to make the scenes warm and personal.
