Damage from cyber-attacks cost the world more than $10 trillion every year. And organizations collectively spend more than $150 billion annually to protect themselves against it (at least, as best as they can).
One of the most important segments of cybersecurity is endpoint security, which protects individual devices (laptops, Smartphones) from malware. Endpoint protection - including extended detection and response (XDR) is a $20 billion global market.
Two publicly-traded players -- CrowdStrike and SentinelOne -- are competing head-to-head to win favor as the endpoint vendor for large enterprises. While CrowdStrike recently made the news by hiring two of SentinelOne's key executives, Sentinel continues to grow and innovative at an incredible pace.
In this video, 7investing CEO Simon Erickson chats with tech guru muji to compare and contrast CrowdStrike and SentinelOne. Muji believes the executives' move is a pretty big deal, though there are certain technical features that make SentinelOne a very compelling option for small and medium businesses.
