Well, sort of, Sean Harris (Mission Impossible) actually played me in the movie. Here is my review of the Spencer movie that takes place over three days at Christmas in 1991.
It’s 1991 and Princess Diana is heading to Sandringham with the royal family for three days over Christmas. Her marriage to the prince of wales has become severely strained and she is well aware of his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles and is counting the hours until she can leave. So what was real and what was made up . I can’t wait to share with you. Because I was there – in real life!
The movie begins with a title card reading “A fable from true tragedy”. So we can’t be too harsh on the things that are obviously made up. Here is my review of the movie along with a recollection of events that really happened.
