Jowar Paratha | How To Make Jowar Paratha Recipe- Healthy Gluten Free Recipes | ज्वार का पराठा

While we look at Western world for gluten free recipes, our own desi ingredients like Jawar provide excellent alternatives and healthy as well. Go for this Jawar paratha with dahi; you don’t need anything else.

Ingredients :
2 cup jowar (sorghum) atta
Some finely chopped veggies (onion, carrot & coriander)
Finely chopped green chillies (as per taste)
1/2 tsp ajwain (crush with hands)
Salt as per taste
Warm water

Method :-
Take a mixing bowl, add 2 cup jowar atta (sorghum flour)
Add some finely chopped veggies (onion, carrot & coriander)
Add finely chopped green chillies (as per taste)
Add 1/2 tsp ajwain (crush with hands)
Add salt as per taste
(You can add veggies and spices or substitute with other ingredients as per your choice and taste)
Add warm water gradually and mix well with the help of spoon
Further mix it with hands
Now place a clean wet cloth on rolling board
Take dough ball on it and wet your hands with water
Flatten with the help of hands to form thick paratha
Now heat up the pan and place paratha on it
Roast well on medium flame
Then flip and drizzle some oil/ghee
Cook for sometime, again flip it and drizzle some oil on other side too
Cook until it turns golden-brown from both the sides
(Make more parathas with the same procedure)
Enjoy your Healthy & Appetizing Jowar Ka Paratha with Dahi or Fried Mirchi!!!
