Stevens Model 1915 (The Favorite!) Restoration part 1

This old Favorite came to me from the other side of the family. It had been used for years and not cleaned or seemingly taken much care of. It’s been sitting in my safe for about 5 years now and I’ve decided to go ahead and restore it.

This will be a series of videos tracking all the steps of a simple restoration process.  In this video, we’re assessing what needs to be done and sourcing some parts and outside labor.

Next video will befitting and bedding the stock and shipping the gun off to Al in Montana for metal finishing and bore re-lining.
