How to connect two 2 digits 7 segment with Arduino using the MAX7219

Although the MAX7219 is not the only LED driver available it’s probably the easiest to use and can control many LEDs using only one chip.

In this video tutorial we will see how to connect 2 digit 7 Segment display and control it with an Arduino  using MAX7219

Parts list

1. Arduino board
2. 2 Digit 7Segment common cathode  x 2
3. IC MAX7219
4. Resistor 10K
5. Capacitor 10uF
6. Capacitor 100nF
7. Breadboard
