Plan is working with some of the poorest provinces in Central Vietnam to implement Savings Groups. The project encourages local participants to save money as a community and manages small loans to help them start businesses and look after their families. The initiative creates a transparent savings and loans scheme which aims to increase the quality of living for poor, rural and ethnic minority households.
