SEAmagine Aurora Submarine Diving With Strange Invertebrate

This bizarre invertebrate was found while diving in SEAmagine's 3 person Aurora submarine. This creature was found at a depth of 80m on the way up from a deep dive. We believe this is a heteropod (also called sea elephant) from the Pterotracheoidea superfamily. A pelagic, shell-less predatory marine snail and was approximately 30 cm (1 ft) in length. An example of the beautiful strangeness of the ocean habitat.
