Retracement Or Reversal: Know The Difference Is a pullback a real pullback or is it a reversal? Market is pulling back - is this a pullback that we need to be selling for a re-visiting or the lows or is it a reversal? If we get a key level of resistance and then price consolidates above that is an indication that sellers have had enough of it and buyers are willing to pay a little bit extra. What is a pullback really? Supply/demand imbalance pushing in one direction in the case of a downtrend lots of sellers coming in (more aggressive on the selling side) slight reversal in price and then another push pushing the price to new lows
