A foraging chef's mushroom! While
A foraging chef's mushroom! While I was out morel hunting I came across these lil beauties here. Let me first say this do not forage for mushrooms if you do not know what you are doing!!! Take a EXPERIENCED SHROOMER out into the woods with you to help identify your mushrooms!!! I always take my shroom book with me when I go out foraging.
You must know which shrooms are best to be picked & cooked. This shroom is alot alike asparagus. We do not eat the tough woody part of asparagus, well dryad shrooms are kinda the same way in that aspect. As I said you need to know which ones you want to harvest for an exquisite meal of shrooms. But thats in itself would be another video. This video is just showing 2 ways that I do make these shrooms up for my family to eat.
