Second Quarter IMS: Tactics References: KFD TACTICS MANUAL This objective involves viewing 1 electronic fire simulation, and working through the processes that you would normally on an emergency scene. This includes, but is not limited to, size up, risk benefit analysis, determining your strategy, command, directing units, etc. Use your scene boards and practice tracking units as well. Get your command board and radio request an ops channel and use your best radio voice. Do this as a crew with the company officer taking the lead and then allow everyone else to have a go. 1.Be sure you are at a computer with sound. a.Did you upgrade the alarm to a working fire What does that put into motion? b.Did you lay in? c.Next company lay in? d.Strategic priority =(RECEO VS). e.Transitional attack? f.Pressurize the house? g.Room and contents fire or structure involved? h.RIT? i.Did you mark the driveway you took with a cone or flare? j.What would you have done if you chose the wrong driveway? k.Did the second unit wait to commit to ensure correct drive?
