equals method in java /// In this video we will be only concentrating on the equals() method and we will learn the importance of overriding an equals().
So Below are the topics that we will be covering in this tutorial :
1) What is a == operator?
2)What is object class equals() method does?
3)What is the String class equals method does?
4)Why do we need to override the equals method to our own class?
5) Creating a custom equals method from the scratch(with java debugging)
Note that Java's equals method plays a very important role in collection framework and especially in a hash-based collection like HashSet/ hashmap/hashtable etc.
So having a good understanding of the hashcode method and equals method will make us a better programmer today.
