Horner’s syndrome can occur from an avulsion of the brachial plexus at C8-T1 level. It is a pre-ganglionic injury creating disruption of the sympathetic chain. It is a supraclavicular injury with a poor prognosis.

•Ptosis: dropping of the upper eye lid.

•Anhidrosis: loss of facial sweating on the side with the lesion.
•Enophthalmos
Other manifestations of pre-ganglionic injury:
1.Winging of the scapula from serratus anterior paralysis (long thoracic nerve) and rhomboid paralysis (dorsal scapular nerve).
2.Flail arm
3.Positive histamine test
