खरगे ने वॉकआउट के तुरंत बाद पत्रकारों से बात की। इस दौरान उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री पर जमकर निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कहा, झूठ बोलना, लोगों को गुमराह करना और सच से परे बातें कहना उनकी आदत है। मैंने उनसे सिर्फ इतना कहा कि आप संविधान के बारे में बात कर रहे हैं तो संविधान आपने नहीं बनाया। आप लोग उसके विरोध में थे।
