Hello friends, In this video I did a comparison between India's first metro system (Kolkata Metro) and India's largest and busiest metro system (Delhi Metro).
Construction of Delhi metro was started in 1998 by DMRC and the first metro in delhi was started in 2002 which is red line metro from Shahdara to Tis Hazari. While Kolkata metro was started building in 1972 and completed the first metro of India in 1984.
There are 9 colour coded metro lines which runs in delhi in present time i.e. Red, blue, green, yellow, magenta, violet, grey, orange and pink. On the other hand, kolkata metro has two lines i.e. north to south corridor and east to west corridor.
Delhi metro has a total of 348 km of route which has 285 total number of stations in which almost 310 metro trains are working.
Kolkata metro has a total of 39 km of route and 31 stations in which 40 metro trains are working. In delhi metro, more than 47 lakhs people travels in a day while in kolkata metro, almost 6 lakh people travels in a day.
The daily profit of Delhi metro is 1-1.5 crore while Kolkata metro has the daily profit of less than 1 crore which goes updown.
The top speed of Delhi metro is 100km/h while the top speed of kolkata metro is 80km/h.

Wahi agar baat kre kolkata metro ki to delhi metro ka kaam shuru hone ke kaafi pehli se hi kolkata metro apni working state pe thi.
Waise to Kolkata ne metro ka idea 1920s ka tha lekin 1970s me iski construction ki shuruat hui, 1972 me pradhan mantri Indira Gandhi dwara laid stone ka udghatan hua jiske baad kolkata metro ka kaam shuru kiya gya aur 1984 me jaake bharat ki pehli metro train kolkata mein shuru hui, iske construction me kaafi dikkato ka saamna krna pda tha jiske wajah se ise shuru hone me 12 saal ka lamba samay lg gya. Lekin kaafi samasyao ke baad bhi 1984 me 3.4 km lambe underground stretch ko khol diya gya jisme ki 5 stations shaamil the jo ki Esplanade se bhowanipur ke beech chli.
To ye to baat hui ki aakhir kis tarah se in dono metro trains ki shuruat hui ab hum aate hain vartman me aur in dono metro systems ko vartman samay ke aadhar pr compare krte h.

Delhi metro ki baat kre to isme har din lagbhag 47 lakh se bhi zyada log safar krte h wahi kolkata metro me kariban 6 lakh ke karib log daily metro me safar krte h.
Delhi metro me abhi filhal 310 metro tarins shaamil h wahi kolkata metro me kariban 40 trains maujud h.
