Meganeura - The Biggest Insect That Ever Existed! / Documentary (English/HD)

Are you afraid of dragonflies? If so, it’s a good thing you live now, and not 300 million years ago, during the Carboniferous period. During that time, giant dragonflies called Meganeura (Giant Dragonfly) roamed the skies and preyed on other, smaller insects. In this video, we’re going to explore the characteristics of the Meganeura and try to find out how they were able to grow to such an outlandishly large size!
