Well what you can't do IRL you can do in the sim so I took the formidable A2A Simulations Accu-sim T-6 Texan for a midday flight on a beautiful summer's day. We fly east from Larnaca heading towards Ayia Napa and Protaras.
What I love about the T-6 is that it is called the Pilot Maker for a reason. It's a joy to fly but it will kick you hard and doing a crosswind landing in this aircraft is a very different experience and requires practice to build the skill. With this in mind this video is NOT a tutorial!
This video features the Justsim Larnaca International Airport LCLK P3D5 addon and also Orbx Global, Vector and most likely the EU OpenLc!
3rd party mesh used is the FS Global Ultimate - NG 2020 from Pilots.
A couple of points regarding things I could have done differently. Firstly I did not use the manual hand pump to increase the fuel pressure before starting. This is something you might normally do but in this case she started just fine.
Secondly I would have come off the power & RPM a bit quicker after take off ideally.
