the 2022 Buick LaCrosse Avenir, which is called “Pre-Shared,” is a second configuration for the model that maintains exactly the same design, but with fewer comfort features than the regular range-topping edition, now known as “Flagship.” As such, this is the first time that more than one Avenir configuration has been offered for the LaCrosse in the Chinese market.
2022 Buick LaCrosse Avenir Pre-Shared keeps the core elements of Buick’s “sculptural beauty” design language as well as the distinctive, more refined finish of the Avenir models.
Mechanically, both variants of the 2022 Buick LaCrosse Avenir retain the turbocharged 2.0L LSY four-cylinder engine that produces 233 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The sole powertrain choice is managed by the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
The new 2022 Buick LaCrosse Avenir Pre-Shared is available throughout the entire dealer network starting in June, which also introduces the latest generation of Buick’s infotainment system that integrates wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with an advanced suite of active safety features. Its suggested price is 265,800 CNY, or about $41,640 USD at the current exchange rate.
