Dropping 200kg 1.5m off the edge of a roof to represent two users falling off the roof while connected to a 3M DBI-SALA® RoofSafe™ Anchor.
The anchor post is surface mounted via eight rivets (two in each corner of the anchor plate) on a trapezoidal iron roof.
When the anchor is deployed, the SpiraTech™ shock absorbing spring coil inside the anchor post stretches out to help reduce the impact of the fall on the user and structure to less than 6Kn.
