How to start a scooter with no battery and no kick start

My two stroke Hyosung SF50 scooter has a stripped kick start gear and only starts using electric start so if I end up with a flat battery while riding - I'm basically stuffed. So what I came up with is a way to hand start the scooter by rotating the crankshaft quickly using a luggage strap. Works every time and super easy. As a matter of fast, it's probably even easier than kick starting it.
