We recently acquired an originally
We recently acquired an originally designed field kitchen truck for our Airborne Command mess. Here it is starting up and driving out.
This is a Chevrolet G-506, 1 1⁄2-ton, 4x4 truck, built specifically as a mobile field kitchen. It has fold down sides to put prepared food on, for easy reach by the troops walking past and the cooks on board. It also still has it's original engine.
