FOR VALOUR JOHN CRUICKSHANK VC

For Valour was a TV series from 1995 I had taped on video, honoring heroes of WW2.  In this program RAF Catalina pilot John Cruickshank is honored for his attack on a German U-boat in which one of his crew was killed and he received around 70 wounds, but still brought his aircraft back and landed. For his devotion to duty and saving the lives of the rest of his crew whilst he must have been in great pain, he was awarded the Victoria Cross.
