Before I had my first
Before I had my first crystal breakthrough over 25 years ago, I had a lot of trouble visualizing where I wanted my life to go. I was in my 20s, I had a great job, a house by the beach and a wonderful community of friends and family. But something deep inside of me was discontent with this seemingly picture perfect life.
One day, I stumbled upon a little shop filled with enchanting items. While everything in the store left me in awe, it was a sparkly, violet stone on the shelf that captivated my attention. The woman who owned the store told me that it was an Amethyst crystal, and that it would open up my intuition. I had no idea what she meant by that, but what I did realize was that I felt at peace holding it. I bought the crystal and took it home. And that crystal led me down the path to where I am today.
In the beginning of my journey with crystals, there weren’t always drastic shifts. Instead, I found myself changing in subtle ways. The more I connected with these crystals, the more I was able to slow down, take in the moment, and appreciate the beauty around me. That lead me to seek out more of what could fill my spirit with peace and joy. The path I later took—one of travel, meditation, rituals, spiritual discovery and entrepreneurship—was all thanks to that first breakthrough I had with the help of that Amethyst crystal.
