A new report on oil
A new report on oil theft in Nigeria has pointed out a direct link between the oil theft and international organized crime with proceeds being laundered in world financial centers like Britain and the United States. According to the report by London-based Chatham House, an estimated 100,000 barrels per day of oil was stolen from pipelines in the Niger Delta in the first quarter of this year.
